Game of Thrones: Season 7

Can’t argue with that but I’m gonna throw Night King in there as well. Never has anyone been so metal or badass without uttering a single word.

They fucking better get his voice right if he ever speaks

I’m gonna say there’s a 90% chance the wall cones down last 2 episodes. Anyone wanna guess the likelihood of Jon being the cause of of him killing dany it vice versa? Also any guess as to what littlefinger is plotting?

season end cliff hanger has to be night king swaggering past the wall before the end credits roll cause fuck you

Think you need to carve a face off someone to get a face. probably why she is using it sparingly these days.

Anyone noticed how the time continuum is messing up the show? Jon battled the White Walkers a season and a half ago at Hardholme and they’ve been advancing on the wall ever since. Meanwhile Danerys has escaped the widow ritual, sailed across the sea, taken Casterly Rock, battled a Lannister army, and still the White walkers are not at the wall? Not to mention Jon who has fought the wildings, united the North, Battle of Besterds, taken Winterfell, gone to the south (Dragonstone) and now back North, and the mfking zombies still walking!

Maybe I’m alone on this but Sansa’s actress is pretty annoying, and totally ruined Jean Grey for me. #BringBackFamke

But Sansa is so fine.

The timeline has been a constant problem both in the shows and the books. What I’ve come to determine over the last couple of seasons is that we the viewers have to kind of figure out how long stuff takes between seasons, shows, and even scenes. In the last episode, Sam mentions he helped Bran get through the Wall a few years ago. To us, without really thinking about it, we could be forgiven for thinking Bran only spent a few months beyond the Wall.

In the last episode, Jon sails from Dragonstone to Eastwatch. That’s somewhere around 1,500 to 2,000 miles on a ship…a damn long time. But it was one cutscene later and Jon’s marching through the Wall. Similarly, when Dany sends the Unsullied to Casterly Rock, they’d have to sail all the way around Dorne. That’s an even longer trip but they made it in an episode or less.

tl;dr - Sometimes a single episode may give us a day in the life, other times a few months may pass. It’s hard to follow unless you pay close attention. It’s best just not to think about it.

Oh, and where the hell is Ghost?

I would assume he’s hanging out in the woods around Winterfell.

Agreed STL on the last point especially. I get it’s done to move the story along but it is a bit jarring for the viewer. I stuck with land based examples in since troop movements are easier to estimate and comparable and I’m no naval expert.

Famke vs Sansa is a no brainer to me. Current Day Famke vs Sansa, still easy.

I like Sophie Turner as Sansa. As Jean Grey…yeah, I like Famke better too. If you need some Sophie Turner inspiration, Google some pics of her and Maisie Williams together. They’re titillating.

sansa is fire leave her alone

Would you rather have Ygritte’s actress (google Rose Leslie) for Sansa for 7 seasons or Sophie Turner for 7 seasons? The choice is clear.

The time line can be confusing because things we see on TV are not all happening at the same time. The directors said it was too challenging to keep the events occuring at the same time early in the series. So two events in the same episode could be months or years apart.

Can’t wait for the dragon lady to bend the knee to the rightful heir!

The wolves are expensive to animate. So, when they are not necessary to the plot, they are “hiding”.

I just learned this a couple days ago, but they’re actually real wolves. They’re in Canada and can’t be transported out of the country, so when GoT wants to do a scene with a direwolf, they have to move the set to Canada. And there’s some CGI on top of it, but basically it’s a matter of time, cost, and being a general cluster f u ck when they do it.

Still, I have a fever and the only prescription is more direwolf.

And as much as I despise Buzzfeed, I have to link this one. I believe Sophie and Maisie think they’re Targs…
