I’m not fond of his PC stance but he makes valid points.
There are millions of illegal immigrants living and working here in America already. Most of them do jobs that no one else wants to do, backbreaking jobs like picking produce. The majority of them just want a better life and are not raping and killing people. So the dilemma is that they are already living and working here in America. What makes more sense? Should we spend billions to get rid of them? Or should we fix the real problem- the fact that these workers are coming up with random social security numbers to give to their employers and finding ways to duck out of paying taxes? The fact that there is a line of “illegal immigrants” standing outside of home depot every day to do work for cheaper than licensed contractors will but without the proper license and insurance.
Also- GJ realizes that drugs are a demand problem here in America, not a supply problem. Make drugs legal and guess what? All those cartels and violent drug gangs are put out of business.
And yet you’re afraid of your candidate having to debate him. Shouldn’t she be able to wipe the floor with him? Is she such a flawed candidate in your eyes that Gary Johnson is a real threat?
Partly because of this forum, I went to a recent GJ rally. Honestly his VP should be at the top of the ticket, just based on people skills. He could support infanticide for all I know, but was much better at working the room. Way better
