Donald Trump found a way for an independent to get elected President. It’s not by creating a 3rd party. It’s by ambushing an existing party. He was smart enough to realize that so kudos to him.

There are 300+ million people in the United States. Somehow, Hillary and Trump were selected as the two best choices for office. And the people who rejected that idea are the monkeys? The 3rd party candidates got what, 5M votes out of the 120ish million votes? You’re complaining about those 5 million people instead of the 100M+ that didn’t bother to vote? How about the well over 5 million people who blindly vote by party like they’re cheering on a sports team instead of objectively vetting candidates?
Perhaps. GJ’s vote totals did exceed Trump’s margin of victory in FL, PA, MI, and WI, but nominating someone who couldn’t even beat Trump wasn’t exactly a good decision.
^ plus its not like HRC would have gotten all of those votes, if GJ wasnt on the ballet it would have been split between HRC & DT so its unlikely that would have made the difference. I still stand by my wish that Bloomberg ran instead of HRC. He would have destroyed DT in the general
I believe bloomberg said something to the effect of “if bernie wins, I’ll run because I can’t let one of them win”. He obviously overestimated hillary’s ability to win…as did pretty much everyone
I assume “monkeys” is derogatory. The US election is not set up for more than two candidates, you would need some form of ranked voting for that. Binary system, so if you answered non binary, I guess you are a monkey. Allowing this option, makes the system a lie.
You mean the suppressed vote? The system takes your taxes, and then does everything to make it hard for you, to take back what belongs to you. Those people were cheated. Most would have voted in a well designed system. By cheating them, it makes the system a lie.
Politicians organizing into “parties” should be illegal, it’s a divide and conquer strategy to control the masses, making the vote a lie.
