I was not suggesting that StL was being mysogynistic, but one could suggest that straight people don’t get married just for tax purposes because it takes a hell of a lot more than a tax break to get a man to marry a woman. Of course you could make the same statement the other way, but there are only a few women here and none of them are likely to make such a statement.

I also think that blacks shouldn’t care if they’re not allowed to ride at the front of the bus. They were allowed on the bus aren’t they? what’s the issue?
and women, why were they given the vote? they were allowed the liberties afforded to them by democracy and their husbands can vote, why would they need to actually go and vote themselves?
