GMATs till Dec. then Level II Study?

I think you could pull it off if you don’t work full time at the moment. L2 requires an extraordinary amount of dedication (at least it was in my case) and I’m experiencing the same thing now while studying for the GMAT. Disclaimer: I didn’t get an SAT score anywhere close to yours so take my comment with a grain of salt.

Unfortunately (or fortunately lol) I am working full-time, which means for the next 9 months or so my life is kind of going to suck. Social life is definitely going to take a hit but I feel like to get ahead in this day and age you need to keep progressing educationally. A bachelors degree doesn’t cut it anymore (and it shouldn’t, I suppose). I put in about 250 hours for L1 starting in late Feb/early March. If need be I can probably up that to 300+ for L2 starting in Jan. Do you think that is a fair amount of prep time? My buddy just bombed L2 (<50% in most sections) but I don’t think he put in the necessary time. It’s sad how naive I was just a few years ago about how the real world works after college but I suppose it’s all a part of growing up. Plus knocking this sh1t out now while I’m single and the economy is in the shitter will pay dividends in the future in one way or another when the economy picks up (2014? 2015?).
