When India was under terrorist attack in Mumbai Israel is the country who offered all kind of support,in fact they even wanted to send their Counter-insurgency squad to eliminate the uninvited guests from across the border. . Only Israel /Russia have been consistent in their friendship towards INDIA…But we must not forget that every “international help” has a “strategic motive”… Yes most of the Indians will support Israel blindly (for above mentioned reasons)… the whole world including the non muslim countries are standings against Israel. but indians have a dead heart they just enjoy too see the killings of children in Palestine because Israel “offered” India help… US will have to bow down to international pressure for supporting Israel.

He he, RR is a very curious personality but his last post had a grain of truth in it. None of us in this thread nor I nor Pokhim have anything against Israel. They were there when we decided to go nuclear breaking a whole host of international laws, they were the ones who helped us secure our borders when Pakistani terrorists were infiltrating them and when the fight came to Mumbai amidst particularly gruesome urban warfare it was Israel that was the first to offer support. India owes a debt to Israel that cannot be repayed in this lifetime but blindly supporting them serves no purpose.
Going into who is the rightful owner of the Palestine land is beyond all of our scope and I say this with utmost confidence but the view that Israel have been tolerant is misguided. Israel might be a liberal democracy but they certainly havent acted like that in quite a few cases.

The Israelis don’t really want peace, they say they will stop when the palesteniens lay down their weapons but when they did it in Beirut they were slaughtered and Lebanon paid the price of a long occupation which sparked of a civil war that ripped that country apart. Lebanon only stabilized after the creation of Hezbollah - a crazy organization that Israel will think twice maybe even thrice before going to war with. Lebanon stabilized and after 2 decades of war Beirut is making a comeback. Maybe Palesteniens think that Hamas will be that organizaiton for them, I wouldn’t know seeing as they don’t have a voice. The one Israeli prime minister Karmin? who wanted peace was shot down by right wing Israelis. No, it’s bullshit.
Give the palesteniens a state, give them a voice, lift the blockade, allow investment - gulf countries are awash with petrodollars are they not? Maybe they can be persuaded to build that reigon instead of investing in European football clubs, Once the Palesteniens have a reason to live, support for scum organizations like Hamas will dwindle. It is hard but it is possible. It has happened world over, in Sri Lanka, Rwanda etc. The scent of money and a better future is a very powerful reason to lay down guns. (Not in america for some strange reason)
This will never happen as long as America treat Israel like a kid brother who can do no wrong. Either make the UN truly democratic or pull them up on their war crimes. This status quo will not end well.

Palestinians would argue that Israel did not honor their part, as along with the ceasefire, it was agreed that the blockade of Gaza would gradually be lifted. Also, Israel has illegally expanded settlements since the last ceasefire signed 18 months ago. This isn’t a black or white issue as you make it seem in your post.
I would think the same if I didn’t understand why rockets were being fired.
The internet is changing things too as people now have access to non traditional media. The US media is as pro Israel as the Arab world is pro Palestine. It’s not surprising, as there is a disproportionate amount of Jews owning or working in the media compared to Muslims. And those who are not Jews work with them and are exposed to their side more often. If there were as many Muslims in the US media as Jews, the bias would turn to the other side.
