It depends the level of efforts the one has to make to pass cpa exams or cfa… and the same way it really does what grad school to complete with what grades, you know.

Grade Point Average - Weighted average grade by number of credit hours based on a 4 point Scale
In most cases:
A = 4 pts
B = 3 pts
C = 2 pts
D = 1 pts
F = 0
There are usually basis points awarded for grades with +/- . E.g. A- = 3.667, B+ = 3.333 & B- = 2.667. etc
