@ Supreme If you think rational consumerism doesn’t exist, you are completely mistaken. I agree though it does not exist in maximizing pure numerical benefit but usually focuses on maximizing emotional benefit. Everyone does things that they deem to be appropriate at the time. Just because you have a different view doesn’t mean they are wrong, they have just rationalized the decision and they think they are maximizing their benefit. I agree though, economics is a pseudoscience and I majored in Bus. Econ/Acctg and got a 3.5 because I liked partying too much. As someone with absolutely no focus, I got a 3.5, so someone only focusing on school should get in the 3.8 range. Economics/Investing is more like an art than a science and people that say otherwise, even if they are physics majors are mistaken.
