Well, If Warren said Paul is the right man for the job, who am I going to contradict the view of the man with such caliber. http://money.cnn.com/2008/10/02/news/newsmakers/buffett.fortune/index.htm?postversion=2008100212 “He also praised some government officials dealing with the current crisis. He said Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson, who he described as a friend, is the right man to be guiding the government’s rescue efforts and that he hopes whoever is elected president asks him to stay on.”
d) +1 I do think he did a bad job of selling this to the house, but think he is the man for the job. I hope he stays on for the next year.
Come on guys. He is not the root of the problem but he fueled the problem in to a crisis by his indicision and lack of consistency in the messages to the market. Paulson’s got to go…
I don’t know if it’s so much indecision and lack of consistency or more experimenting and coming up with creative solutions to each issue. The guy is in unchartered territory - no one can point to the history books and show him what worked in the past.
