From my limited 5 yr of experience in finance, I can state that based on my empirical experiences…8/10 meetings are a complete waste of time. People show up late, unprepared and tired. The result is a lethargic get-together of people checking their cellphones every 5 minutes.
Spot on. I don’t get it, lot are quite smart, but a very strong sense of entitlement.
The British do finance style excellently. The substance, on the other hand, is quite another matter.
