How important is brand name in Banking?

^OP said “fresher”. Pretty sure he’s in India… this sounds like ‘IB KPO’ thread all over again

not funny bro . That ish is hard mang

i feel like you have multiple accounts on AF…are you cfa level V candidate?

I guess I could be a carpenter in Alaska using my DSL connection or coyote hunter in mongolia or beach bum in Malibu…

I like how this thread turned into a jap bashing rant

I’d also consider office environment and location/distance from home in this scenario… nothing worse than being stuck in a stinky building

Stfu fool

When the yanks acknowlege their own atrocities in cuba and their soldiers raping innocent japanese women after ww2 and the brits and french stop re writing shit about their crappy empires then well talk

Experience and brand name both make a difference, though one does not really trump the other. People coming out of SCB with 2/3 yrs experience will be pretty similar to Mizuho 2/3yrs analysts.

The most important factor (after assuming skills/experience is the same) is office envirnomnent - i’ve worked in crap offices before and it’s a ball ache… crap tech, crap people, stinky old offices.

Go work for Mizuho!

westerners are weird. who puts their parents in old age homes? like wtf?

It is up to you I suppose, if you would rather have more substantial experience in a narrow role, or broader exposure but less depth of skills. My experience has just been that you can speak with more credibility with deeper experience in something. People will not expect you to know everything after 2 years when you are considering your next job. However, it is very important to appear that you know everything about your current job and that you can do it well. This is an indication that you can learn to do a job and have added value to your employer.

Thanks for the insight. I’ll definitely take it onboard as I make my decision.

child pornography is illegal in japan you dumb bastard. if you were so concerned about look at your own shitty country which does nothing to stop or prosecute old wankers going to south east asia and engaging in sexual exploitation of underage women. weird cunts

While tourists are drawn to exotic experiences, I would think most prostitution involves local customers.

depends on the city/ what part of the world

i just saw that link. nothing but duct tape is hot.

I worked in trade finance… Stay away if you can…PM me if you want more information on it.
