There are better and worse hostels. I’ve met some very fascinating people in them, but I tend to stay in the more ‘expensive’ ones. I’m not 30 year, but met many cool people in their 30s
There is a lot of people who would agree with swan on this. That said, I know a gun store owner who is a professional competitive marksman who conceal carries a glock, he’s also a large dude and carries the bigger version which I would never attempt to daily carry with an IWB holster or any other method for that matter. I have some navy buds who love the p226 because they shot it for years in the service and feel comfortable with its operation. All of those firearms have good reputations. See what i’m getting at though? You develop a personal preference after firing a variety of weapons.
i’d been thinking about getting my carry permit. i think i will and i’m going to look at buying the M&P, good reviews from what i’ve seen online. BS did you adjust the trigger pull weight after you bought yours?
I didn’t adjust it although I have the PA, not MA version (MA has the crappy trigger). To me the trigger’s fine but I don’t shoot enough to be a a real hardcore conoisser when it comes to customization and all that. M&P Shield is where it’s at other than maybe the Kahrs.
Hmm forgive me if I want more from live than what Mr Mustache can get for $20k a year. I want to know what it is like to drive Porsche 911, have spoilt kids go to upper level ivy league, see Galapogos turtle before they are destroyed bty climate change. There’s a lot in life that you cannot experience before you die. Why be a cheap ass when a small amount of effort can enrich your life greatlly? Life tips
I’m not sure if you listened, given your post seems ignorant of what he actually believes. Recall that 25x expenses isn’t an absolute number, so different lifestyles have different levels. I didn’t get the impression he’d say those things are bad, if they actually have meaningful impacts on happiness. Just means you’d have to save more.
except everyone with a family has the same idea and they bid prices up, so it’s really not “cheap” when you consider the pain in the ass and waste of time (off the clock) associated with commuting.
It’s cheap relative to the space you get. If you’re going to live in a 1000 sf apartment in the suburbs, that is going to be significantly cheaper than the same unit in the city… However, what happens is that people say “I can afford $X”, so they spend that much money no matter what.
Uhh commute where you sit and read is NOT a waste of time. Also, we are talking 15 more min difference in most cases, unless you live very close to the job, which would be insanely exepnsive
