Lol, that’s awesome you remembered I play. Yeah man, not sure if I’ll be playing much in November or not. I’m still enjoying crushing people at reach these days. The other day I got matched in a team game with beginners and had my first 20+ kill perfection. I just never got into the Black Ops games as much though for multiplayer, I’m too impatient and like the charging, gun weilding, jetpacking, meleeing action of Halo. Actually, email me your screen name and I’ll try to friend you on live. q (.) benjamin (at) gmail (.) com
That’s creepy that you were able to track down the car I’m selling like that. BTW, to be clear, I just meant opinion, not buying the Lexus. I don’t got that kinda baller status. I’m not Blake.
I’m a pretty smart guy, competivitive, beat my friends at everything… somehow, Im just horrible at COD, little kids run around and smoke me all day. This guy at my work has learned in 2 years what I learned in 2 weeks here, yet he has a 20-1 kill to death ratio… blows my mind
Hey black swan - what do you think about investing in timber reits as an alternative to farming? Granted the demand is different, food v housing/paper, but the supply constraints are similar I think.
Offhand though, I’d consider that there are subsitute goods (concrete, metal, synthetic materials, etc), there also seems to be a little more excess margin in terms of available lumber before supply constraints become an issue. I think I remember hearing there’s tons of untouched forests through China, Russia, South America and Eastern Europe that haven’t neared being tapped yet. Also, housing, especially if you differentiate some materials as more “discretionary” than others may have some additional flexibility w/r/t demand that food may not have.
Edit: I’m not saying it’s a bad investment, just that it’s very different in some characteristics and I couldn’t possibly predict how those factors will play out since it’s not really something I’m familiar with.
I’m much better at Halo than I am at any of the COD games. I do fine, but normally hover around 1:1. I don’t get it. So many people hate COD because they say it takes no skill. If that was the case I would suppose my scores would be more random, but they’re pretty consistently average.
BS (and anyone else), hit me up whenever, GT - Ace of Debaser. I don’t have Reach so can’t join you there. Still playing MW3. Get Halo 4 and we’ll pwn noobs.
I’m sure COD takes skill. But it’s just a much more patient and in my mind cheap playing style. The guys that excel at COD are the same guys in Halo that will grab a shotgun and crouch / camp in a corner with invisibility the entire game while ignoring their teammates just to get a high k/d ratio. Fortunately in Halo, there’s enough variety of weapons and high damage tolerance that you can usually mitigate this with a variety of measures. Halo allows a wide variety of playing styles to remain balanced, whereas COD with it’s precision weapons and low damage tolerance favors the camping / crouching style.
Anyhow, I just hate COD cause I’m impatient and very offense / close quarters oriented so it doesn’t mesh with my style.
when it comes to first encounters, just like men, women have very basic instincts that are difficult to override. Therefore I think different points of contact require different approaches from both parties. If I’m looking to attract a completely random stranger, I’ll naturally play into the requisite male basis of attraction- show some assets, exude femininity, etc. You have to play it up a bit more than the day to day because you have to get over the hump… to GET the opportunity to see if your completely real selves are a fit. When it comes to people in your social circles however its completely different. Just be yourself see if overtime if there is a fit it will work.
so guys- random strangers require you to be the lumberjack we all secretly desire. That will be way more attractive than some cubicle troll no matter what the paycheck. Its innate.
WTF happened to my thread??? Lol I was just hoping for some fellow AFer’s to rip into the Grant Thorton loser for a couple pages. Now all i see is corn, watches and video games lol…
Interesting question. Some time ago a former girlfriend’s roommate definitely had a crush on me. She used to tell my gf all the time about how good looking and smart I was. I’m very average-looking. Every time I saw her she just looked exceedingly attentive to everything I said. She was probably a 7 though. Maybe a 7.5 in the dark and half drunk. Unfortunately the possibility of an MFF never came up.
Wifey “majored” in Marketing, so some of her friends are textbook examples of a doable chick. Maybe one of these days she will say: “So honey, remember Jessica? She’s having a lot of trouble right now, and she asked me if it was okay to spend a night with you, so if you’re fine with that you can bang her badly”.
Watch out, there is no free lunch with women. Either it’s a trap question or you must hand her your credit card or you have to give up every Sunday during football season to visit the in laws.
