I mentioned to people that Quant was quite easy this time. Dont know how others felt. But when results came out I saw that Quant was the only section where I got 50-70%. Puzzled!!
i agree asif bhai…i thought i nailed quant section cause i looked so easy…but got less than 50 in that…unbelieveable
The Quant material looked like Chinese at first read, and I read it three times from the curriculum to bury it in my head. I wished more questions came from that section though. Got >70%.
I was very happy with Quant. I got >70% on it, and knew without a doubt I nailed every question. Honestly, I thought it was straight forward. There were no tricks and the calculations could have only been done one way. Alternatives though… I can’t imagine how I got <50% on that…

I was very happy with the quant I scored >70, I had allot of time on the PM section to double check and I’m pretty sure I scored 100%. This was part of the first 24 questions in the PM that I go me over the hump.
I agree with iteracom, quant was by far my most confident section afterwards, and alts also raped me. VC questions? who knew?
Quant was very light, only 1 vig 6 questions. I was pretty confident of it and got 70+ on that section, I’m pretty sure I nailed all 6. They were rather straight forward, and I wish there were more quant vigs, since I prepared a lot for quant.
Quant in the text was easy for me, but the exam was off for me.
Quant was one of 3 that I got 70+ in. Was easy for me, but everything else raped the crap out me.

Quant was actually a very straightforward part of the curriculum in my opinion, given the fact that you can’t really calculate any of the really difficult stuff. Once you get your head around what you’re doing, it clears up quite a bit. And I hated stats in undergrad.
No excuse not to rip quant apart. I’m an English major with C’s in almost every math class I ever took and I spanked it. Quant is a gift. While they can make almost any other section almost impossible (even ethics) if they want to, Quant has to be fairly straight forward.
