sorry to hear that cfasuicide, hope it all turns out fine for you. Didn’t see the incidenct but did notice the medication on your desk. The proctors were horrible, guys sitting infront of my desk were asked to remove the erasers from their mechanical pencils to see if they had any papers hidden in that tiny space. One proctor during the exam just stood at my desk for an unreasonably long period flipping through the pages of my passport.
cfasuicide u should send them a short email to make ur case. It shouldn’t be a big as the proctors have most likely written the name of the medicine + u didn’t write anything stupid on ur medication + u got doctor prescription if they ever ask … best of luck
C’mon - I dislike those people at CFAI for this kind of stuff as much as anyone, but they are not going to do anything to you for bringing your heart medication to the exam. The incidents that they do things about are people bringing in study aids, cheat sheets, etc… This is just a proctor with bad judgment.
I concur. This is downright idiotic, i took my bladder breaks just before the 30 min warnings, i probably may have been marked for that cuz the proctor came up and noted my number… perhaps its my paranoia but I am not gonna let go of this should it come to haunt. As for medicines, if at all the CFAI approves the medication … whats to prevent the students from refilling the capsules up with someit else ? I mean come on… they’re barking up the wrong tree they oughta know what “good faith” means Oh btw, Do they care to inform you at all if some “external” factors determine your result ?
With all due respect to the proctors…some of them are downright idiots. They are there for whatever $$/hr and their 6 hours of being able to boss people around. Some of the frustrated souls enjoy that power a bit too much and abuse it. I could sense the pleasure one lady was having yelling at people and making them to do what she wants. Would love to see what sort instruction booklet the proctors get prior to the exam. I have seen one of those for another exam and it even tells you when to pause and what to say to the last word.
I am pretty surprised reading this…I took it at Kathmandu and the proctors or whatever were almost non existent… The proctors were teachers of tat school. I guess its the same everywhere. One dude was copying from another big time and he was “kindly requested” tat he should not copy! Lol. I got pretty pissed then tat these guys are not serious about invigilation. But seems in US and other places, they are damn strict. They did not check our pockets. Nothing. We were served good nepali tea too

Bathroom breaks are allowed after the 30 minute warning I thought? I went during the last 30 in NYJ and the guy just stood there with my test and waited for me to get back. I got a little drink of water too. They didn’t seem to care. I think with 30 left you just can’t LEAVE.
wow reading all these stories is funny im LMAO!

For me the afternoon was better than the morning (so I think, or I really f***** it up). You probably finished early, I finished about 20 mins remaining and saw that you had left. The proctors were horrible!
