Sungirl: you are most welcome. CFA is an excercise in masochism: share the love by sharing the pain.

i just started reading a bit of the quant to start my lvl 2 prep, and i dun understand shit.
sigh
Usually I do not read this type of threads very often but was still curious what is the opinion of people here. It surprises me how much focus is put on the total hours put in. I have passed Level I, would like to continue with Level II. I fully agree with ‘blanders’ in thinking that more important is the way you approach studying and concentration. The hours are then a result of this choice. Though from what I have read and heard, it seems that the requirements for Level II are generally higher than for Level I, concerning the amount details to remember, practical examples and depth of topic.
3-4x as hard. I’ve got a Masters in Finance and put in 180, passed but not by as much as I felt like I would have (I think I was pretty close).
