Living Animal Keychains

So this is a thing.

People will do anything to make a quick buck. It’s how the world works

Not living for long, of course…

Huh, so it is: http://www.snopes.com/critters/crusader/keyrings.asp

Two wrongs don’t make a right, of course, but…

“Kosher” methods of killing chickens are no better in terms of animal cruelty.

Don’t know about beef, but without stunning the animal, draining its blood while it can still feel pain is not exactly kosher… I mean - good

It’s more creepy that the buyers of the animal keychains are not creeped out by this. I mean, they don’t even try to be in denial (like people who eat commercial meat products).

Saw this on yahoo this morning. The real kicker? People have been throwing them in the microwave for quick snacks after they die.

Like, well my live turtle keychain has died…good thing I’m a little hungry! So wierd, and I lived in China a while.

I guess it’s good they’re not going to waste?
