I mean, is there any benefit to join these local society? so far, I been told that we might get few periodicals that might be half interesting to read in the bathroom.
Seems as most would just join the society first just to get charter and then drop out. Unless your employer picks up the tab.
You nailed it! - Moment I get the charter from them, I am going to opt out. There is absolutely no benfit, waste of $200
Anyone else here waiting for work experience review from Toronto Society? Its been 15 days and counting for me.
My local society is very frustrating. I emailed them and they said they’d get together and review applications by the time the CFAI met to do whatever is they do to issue charters. However, here we are Sept 4th and not a word. You would think three weeks would be enough time to review an application.
