I just put together a 2 deck with 2 slides, already raised 1mm, proposal is simple: Build a website with a message board for people who studied/passed CFA

I know of one hedge fund that provides a $1500 monthly stipend to live within a short distance of work. I guess so they can make you come back and work any time.
I didn’t have to do this. Everyone voluntarily lives within walking distance because it’s an awesome neighborhood anyway and because YOLO. My commute is 0.68 miles each way. The car doesn’t even get warmed up. Practically faster to walk by the time I unpark and repark.

This guy’s first post is about living in a van and his gf is in a wheel chair… I’m really sorry if this is actually true but we have a virus going around posting fake posts and this has all the symptoms.
Are you suggesting that the OP is the Brian Williams of AF?
I stopped believing this thread when he replied to BlackSwan asking if he even lifts hahahah

^How far does $1500/month go where this hedge fund is located?
Less than half the rent for 1BR apartment nowadays. But still, it is better than nothing.
Thanks guys. Lots of good info here
I die laughing at that title every time I see it. Thanks Flintheart.

Well, I know someone who got divorced and resorted to living in a boat for months. I imagine it’s not too different.
The conversation was like:
Guy’s coworkers: Hey you know, X is so cool. He lives on a boat.
me: Oh really? You live on a boat:
X: Yes… I… I got divorced and must live on the boat…
me: … T.T
my ex-girlfriends Dad got divorced and kept the boat - he lives on a 2 bed 1 bath catamaran. It sounds better than it is. Expensive boat, but I mean you have to pump the toilet when you go #2. Shower is laughable. living room is decent size.
to OP :
if this is really serious doesnt craigslist have rent a room for cheap in basically any city? you can search temp housing or something

Most on here will have no idea what I’m talking about, but I used to love the show Quincy and thought living on a boat would be the coolest thing in the world.
^ You’re right, no clue what you’re referring too.
So this Toronto Blue Jays prospect lives out of his van:
This was probably the best laugh I’ved had on AF…this should be a dontevenreply post or something
He throws 96. He’s the Jays’ No. 1 prospect. He signed for millions. And he lives in a VW camper. Meet Daniel Norris, the most interesting pitcher in baseball.
“…out again in the woods, shaving his tangled beard with the blade of an ax?”
I think this is a new animal, The homeless hippie lumberjack BSD.
That guy is a champ, good on him.
