Nov 2015 exam result

I think we might have to wait until tomorrow since today is the result day, thus overloaded and any issue won’t be fixed. Plus, they might not open that option yet for today. But I hope Momo can update us if he gets a reply.

Hey Everyone,

I emailed GARP member services about 5 hours ago and no reply yet. I agree that they may be overloaded with requests similar to this.

I’ll post an update if I receive a reply.

Just received a response from GARP.

They are having technical difficulties on their end and recommend that I check back later.

.

Passed Part 1!!! smiley

Q2 , Q1, Q2, Q3…

Very happy…Thankyou all for your help!!!

Congrats! Same story here, both the score for FRM Level 1 & the study plan for 2016.

For those who passed Part 2, the submission of the working experience is available now. Do it

Woohoo!

Glad the link is working now. Does anyone know how long it takes GARP to review work experience? I can’t wait to update everything with FRM next to my name!

Nov 2015:

FRM I pass rate > 49.2%

FRM II pass rate > 62.1%

Same here! I will take CFA L3 again this year, got band 10 last time  Hope I can make it this time.

I don’t suppose you have any advice as to what you are doing differently this time around for study, now that you have experienced the exam one time before…?

Anyone got Certified yet?

Just got Certified!

Congrats !!!

Nice one

I did part 1 in November, wish I’d done both parts on same day to be honest…now I’ve got to wait until November 2016 to take part 2 as have CFA 3 in June. Damn it…!!

Don’t beat yourself up. FRM part 2 is a bit more difficult than part 1, so taking a break and concentrating on CFA is a better tactic in my opinion. Unless your pay raise is depend on it I will take it easy and not try burn myself up.

I guess I move on to CAIA now

It’s interesting that you say part 2 was more difficult than part 1…I had thought it was the opposite.

May I ask what it is exactly that makes it harder? Delves deeper into the same topics? Different topics which are just more complex/difficult? Focus of the exam quantitative vs qualitative makes it more difficult?

I think there were a lot of overlaps in the Part 1 with the CFA curriculum so I felt that I didn’t have to study much (Q1 on all areas). The volumn in the Part 2 I believe is bigger, and in more details, and more interconnected.

I am more a qualitative guy, so it was easier for me to study though it put forward a different challenge: memorization. Because I have a pretty bad memory I needed many more times to read over and over again to feel confident about the material. I felt that in Part 1 (I might be wrong since It was a year ago) I needed just to understand rather memorize most of the materials.

But it is just my perspective as I can remember. Take it with a grain of salt…and pepper lol.
