"Open Floorplans" at Work

What about a puppy? I want leave to take care of it. Definitely needs constant care during the early weeks and important for bonding. And I think I want to take care of my neighbors newborn for them? Is leave transferable?

And even when I return, I think the company/other employees/tax payers should continue to subsidize my life by paying for day care and babysitters until my child/puppy is independent so i can have it all and not sacrifice.

^ The puppy won’t contribute to society. We need child to keep society moving forward. Completely different.

^how dare you differentiate between puppies and children. there are lots of people who view their dog as a member of their family…one of their children. are you saying these parents don’t deserve the same god given rights as parents of humans? you insensitve prick.

His insensitive prick is what got him the child in the first place.

I thought you told us that you “have no dog”.

That’s a huge oversight on Apple’s part considering office daycare facilities are just a way to get your employees to work longer hours. It’s a sneaky benefit. One designed to make an employer look attractive, but really it’s to take away a common excuse employees use to leave work.

Well, that’s the rub, policy promoting the “good” of the people over the rights of the individual. Who gets to decide what is best? The same arguments were used to promote eugenics. Fortunately, the rights of the individual prevailed and only a million or so people were sterilized and some subsequently murdered. Eugenics was mainstream and almost all experts and scientists supposedly supported it. Sound familiar?

Or when companies provide the lunch and then expect you to eat at the desk. They just bought an hour of your time for eight bucks!

sounds ilke a no go
