Agreed, I think was too worried about appeasing his sponsors, rather then attending to what actually makes the forum work. His customers! If anyone finds a good one, let the public know.

JDV needs to come in and set the record straight.
I don’t want to get into a comparison match with JDV. Joey adds a lot of value that I could never replace, particularly in the more mathy parts and the bits that require more experience managing serious risk in real organizations. And this forum has been a lonelier place since he’s been gone. However, it’s nice to hear that people find my posts helpful and useful. There are lots of others here that I’ve benefited from too. And even if my temperament is not to haul people on the carpet too often, it’s good that some people here do it.

Just be advised that Nuclear Phynance is mostly a quant site. MBA types should try to be humble since most of the posters are quite intelligent. Certainly, I’m always amazed at the excellent insights they offer
