If it’s an ordinary perpetuity (so the first payment is two years from today), then they’re correct.

If it’s a perpetuity due (so the first payment is one year from today), then you’re correct.

Without any additional information, you should assume it’s an ordinary perpetuity. Sorry.

Yep, there is the tricky part. As S2000 says, the most common case is when the payment is at end of year, so assume that scenario when no differentiation between annuity due and ordinary annuity (end of year) is provided. The mock seems to be right in this one.
