I felt the exact same last year and did fine. The fact is if you think you need another week or so, you are more than prepared. Kind of like running a marathon, you always think you could use another long training run or two before you line up at the starting line. But then on race day you realize at mile 8 or 9 just how ready you actually were. You guys are ready and are going to pass it-- except maybe Halifax who blew an entire weekend watching Star Wars prequels a couple months back.

I didn’t blow the whole weekend per se…just the evenings!
CSC, go to Q-bank => test Management => Create new exam => just tick off SS:18 and select # questions you would like to have… and then knock yourself out with GIPS questions Advise: select mark as you go and display answer right away (it really helps!)
Beware, young Halifax… Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suf-fer-ing.
Indeed. So since I’m worrying less than these guys, I pass…or I just don’t wipe out the whole Jedi academy and become a walking robot?
im a lot more scared about this exam because of the dreaded morning session. Its frightening how they could ask ‘list the following and discuss’ and you cant really remember (probably becuase its not important) the exact wording or the exact list. If it was a multiple choice question no problems because you understand the topic, but reproducing it is really hard
it’s like a police line up… it;'s much easier to pick out the criminal from the line up than to actually draw a sketch of his face…
guys and gals…everybody here has done this enough to know that a confident attitude (whether grounded in reality or not!) is worth at least another 10 pts come saturday. so do whatever you need to do to talk yourself into that frame of mind. i can guarantee you the level of discussion here is already way above the median even for LIII. and what’s that line from Dune about fear: “I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.” okay, so i had to wikipedia that one and it’s more than a little over the top for a darn exam… but i figure at least Edge and Halifax should appreciate the reference…
You will likely get a question or two in the am session that you forget the required list or what the needed formula is. I had two last year that I completely blanked on and answered it with the wrong information (did not want to leave blank). But you will also get some softballs (or they will seem like it since you know it inside-out) that will even it all out. Focus on the ones you know and go back on the ones you don’t later. It’s all about accumulating the needed points wherever you can get them, not trying to get the top score-- I know everyone already understands this concept but important to remind in these final days.
and remember no one gets a perfect score so of course there will a couple you gotta guess on…
