Failed, band 3. What’s curious about my result this year is that I studied less…but actually did a bit better (got a band 1 last year). Looking at my results breakdown I’m sorta scratching my head about how I got band 3…was hoping for at least 5-6 … but CFA is a something of black box when it comes to Level 3. Given that I was starting a new job this year with a tough commute, I knew it was going to be an uphill battle to find time and motivation to study. Things got worse around March when the acting head of our department (a Charterholder no less) started showing his lack of management skill, which put me under a ton of pressure. But somehow I managed to rally and find some motivation to study in May…but by then it was too little too late. But hey, at least I took the exam. It’s always a personal victory to make it that far. I know two people at work who registered but then flaked out and didn’t show up, and of course there are always a bunch of empty seats on exam day. Life can sometimes derail even the best study plans… Still waiting to hear how another guy in my department did…he’s on vacation. Hope he made it… So I’ll take it easy for the next few months and then get back on my horse and try once again. For sure, there are plenty of stories of people who fail one or more levels more than once… but persist and end up getting their Charter. Heck, my tool of a boss failed L2 twice… Just goes to show you how tough these exams can be…so again, BIG CONGRATS to those who passed!
Passed. Suprisingly, my PM score is not higher than AM score (probably due to <50 in AI).
Just one quick question, when we post our categorised score for PM, do we violate the Code of Conduct because looking at the score, a person can tell the relative weight of each topic
Congratulations for passing Level 3!!! I just passed Level 2 and was wondering if anyone could help me with some guidance on how to attack Level 3. Your help is much appreciated!
