I know you probably made this comment in jest Numi, but brain mass isn’t useful. Really what you want is activities that increase brain density. There is prelimary research that meditation accomplishes that. The first example I came across on Scholar.google: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3004979/
“. The results suggest that participation in (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) is associated with changes in gray matter concentration in brain regions involved in learning and memory processes, emotion regulation, self-referential processing, and perspective taking.”
And that’s my plug for “psychic nonsense” for today.
I presently go for Avocado shake with wild honey. Berries in India are very very costly, but when I do get them once a month I add them.
Now a days feel a bit bored to create shakes like greenman. So sometimes eat them as salads instead. Avocado & srouts with curd and seasonings - I find it very tasty!
I used to use ON Double Chocolate. Now that I’m married we usually have food in the fridge, so if I’m going home after the gym then I’ll just eat something with protein rather than make a shake.
If I’m going straight from the gym to work then I usually drink some kefir post workout. Kefir is great stuff.
For mental function you want animal/plant fats; beef, pork, butter, coconut oil, avocados. And decreased sugar helps too. The “saturated fat causes heart disease” belief partially explains how Americans became cognitively impaired.
