Calculating level of GDP

Hi everyone,
So in R14, Example 5, question 1 leads to the following formula:
Y = 12 292,7 - 73,2r
In question 2, r = 4%, then we’re asked to calculate stuff like level of GDP (Y).
How i proceeded for Y was like this:
Y = 12 292,7 - 73,2(0,04)
But in CFA book, they proceeded this way:
Y = 12 292,7 - 73,2(4)

Who is right and who is wrong here? Why would they take 4, instead of 4%?

When you (or they) derived the formula, how were you writing percentages? For, say, 10% did you use 10 or 0.1?

That’s the clue.

If they derived the formula and didn’t tell you how they were writing percentages when doing so, then it’s a stupid question.
