Hi L2’ers! Glad to be making the move to this forum section! I’d like to deepen my knowledge of the L2 subject areas before registering for the exams and reading the official notes (also need to save up the $$). Can anyone recommend books to read or websites, or even movies? I’d like to nail equity this time for example, as I was in the 50% bracket in L1. Anything available online or websites would be great, as I’m currently working in a country where English language finance books are not widely available.

Get the 2010 CFA L2 curriculum and start reading. If you are preparing for war don’t waste too much time playing with plastic toys.
apparently you want to learn a bit of Chinese because thats what the quant section looks like.
Makes no sense to go for any Core Readings. The filtered content of CFAI is too much to digest. Why waste time? Get the curriculum or get the 2010 Schweser books from ebay/contacts and start off.
