I didn’t tell you how much I made. Thats crude. You are the one who mentioned six-figures as the holy grail and entrance into the world of upper eschelon finance. The point I was trying to make is that six-figures is no longer the golden ticket to a comfortable life - nor does it entitle you to demand the services of an executive level search effort. Most people in Finance make six-figures after a few years out of college. Its not a big deal.

Actually, most people don’t. This board is a self-selected sample of the finance world, and even then it is subject to a high degree of bs. But it is the illusion of immediate financial reward that keeps many unquialified or unlikely people unhappy in their current positions.
