I passed Level 2, and I really don’t know how. If you hid the main result graph and just asked me to look at the topic by topic breakdown and estimate if it was a pass or fail, I’d say it was an obvious fail, but somehow it ended up being barely above the MPS. My first attempt, and I literally punted Corp Fin entirely, so I’m pretty pleased with this. I don’t want to ride my luck like this at L3 though.

Genuine congratulations to everyone who passed. I unfortunately failed. For the second year in a row I was 2 or 3 marks short. It is so brutal being so close and knowing you have to wait another year to put it right. What has really annoyed me is that usually Equity is my banker but I only got 55% this year - if I had got my usual marks then I would have passed. C’est la vie.

At level 1 and my previous attempts at level 2 I have never used a prep provider but I cannot go through failing this level again so I’m going to use Wiley and maybe even Meldrum as well.

Good luck in level 3 for all those who passed.

Passed with a score right on 90th percentile! Scored like 33% on FRA and exactly on 10th percentile on Corporate Finance, lmao. Well above 90th percentile for Quant and Derivatives/Alternative Investment. Congrats to everyone who passed!

I received a mail from analyst forum that I have passed. However no such mail of passing/failing received from Institute.

Thank my stars i passed too. Percentile isn’t great - right in the middle of MPS and the 90th percentile line, but i will take it.

Looking at the details, it seems FRA and CF helped me pass , rest were not great.

I had about 4 months of study time , with a full time demanding job (and family)- in this period i gave it my all, including some innovative techniques to utilize every minute available. Must have dedicated more than 400 hrs (somehow managed by not sleeping etc)

So i am relieved!!

Have registered for FRM part I for Nov now, will share my experience as it goes along

I’ve never heard of Analyst Forum informing a candidate that they’ve passed an exam. How would Analyst Forum get that information?

As strange as it sounds, i got a similar email too and kept wondering the same.

I passed, barely, with the blue line sitting just above the minimum passing score. I only had 1 section (Fixed Income) above the 70% line at ~82% and only 1 section (FR&A) below 50% line at ~45%. Portfolio Mgt. was at 50%. Atl Inv & Derivatives at ~63%. All others consistent at ~68% . Others posted PM session was like fighting godzilla and had some fringe questions - I agree. I feel for the few people who posted their results and fell a bit short. Don’t get discouraged. My thanks to S2000 magician - whenever I searched on topics that confused me, I always found your answers helpful.

In my anticipation of waiting another two weeks for my results I made a little spreadsheet of the people who have shown their results on here. I also had you at 77, and the two other guys on here who posted the results at 69 and 71. The 71 (no ethics bump) just failed, so my guess is MPS for 2019 was at 72 (right at 60%). MPS last year was estimated at 78 (65%), So an entire (old) item set lower this year.

The MPS for this year’s CFA Level II exam is really significantly lower!

With lower pass rates, it indicates that most candidates screwed up the exam/found it difficult!
