schweser all the way. you need more time to practice. schweser will give you some understanding then when you practice you will get the materials more. CFAI just takes too long to ready. 2 paragraph concepts is condensed to 1-2 senstences in schweser. the pitfall a lot of people make when using schweser materials is they skim through it. you have to read every sentence and think it through cause it’s already a summary.
Used Schweser for all 3 levels and passed. I did use CFAI questions though.
Use CFA books and Schweser notes as supplemental materials.
I thought schweser did a pretty poor job with Behavioural Finance, leaving out some of the terms that were in the CFAI book. Other than that though, I found Schweser pretty good, used mostly CFAI text, with Schweser as review material. I don’t think I’d personally recommend to anyone to use just Schweser, but hey, people have done it successfully…
