You will be surprised at the number of people who didn’t do any am mock exams before sitting for the exam. They think if they master multiple choice they will be able to kill morning session. PM session is easier - no subjective side involved.
I know a guy who failed twice and the second time was in band 4. He told me that he did very well in the morning session and was preparing only for the PM session. In other words, he screwed up morning session the second time. And there are people who don’t change the strategy and it increases my confidence by little as I did 11 mock exams and did multiple choice questions extensively.
I would say that you just need to prepared to the worst case scenario - you don’t pass and will have to spend another year cause next year you will pass. Failing is not the worst case that can happen in this life.
