Right on JDV! But remember that those borrow fees you mentioned are not hidden, they are known to the shorter beforehand and agreed upon upfront. That’s my definiiton of a fee. For the common shorting case, no fees are involved because your broker will not ask you to pay any additional fees. And yes I agree, giving up interest is a form of a fee. Cheers. Dreary
