Dear sh34, I have failed L3 4 times after passing L1 and L2 consectively. This level can screw with your head. I’ve used Schweser and CFAI readings and really have put in a lot of time (300+hours each year). I doing a lot of soul searching at this point. I am going to try a different prep provider this time and try to get into a study group and possibly a tutor.
Thanks for all of your true feeling and sharing, I also asked the same question kwokchun30 asked for myself - I did not sit for Level III in 2006 because of unprepared due to the new job move, and failed in 2007 and 2008… Very painful… But as asharp said, Never, never give up (sh34, I really respect you!)… I will re-take it in 2009. Best wishes and good luck for all of you - passer, re-taker and who find the things that are more interesting/worth than this program.
