So how did you find the exam?

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!!

Yes, me. 5B and 1A for questions 55->60PM.

And one of my friends has the same result.

Yes!

You are insane.

Yes, I did.

And I thought I was the only one…

You’re more then welcome to do some more mock exams to keep the time ticking over till July mate.

The last few weeks are the part I miss. The part where everything finally comes together and you feel prepared. However, if I never read the word “Auto regressive conditional heteroskedasticity” ever ever again, it won’t be too soon.

ceo10k-day, did you use NYSSA. I heard terrific things about Nathan Ronen, people swear by him being a key to their passing. What was he like?

hahah

Lol, I have some extra left over from Kaplan… might do them in a couple weeks for fun.

Yes. From start to finish NYSSA is the best prep tool I’ve ever used. Nathan is probably the smartest person to ever work in finance - it is just straight dirty how he can explain things. And it’s great having someones email and phone numbers for access.

Carl Creggo was also a boss - but he’s since retired.

“Did anyone answer the same letter five times in a row on PM?”

Ja, twice!

Thought about this insane idea the day before the test and took pictures of all the crazy papers pile and sticky notes on the wall as a memory. But thinking about the possibility of retaking it, I’d rather forgo this fun experience with Level II and have fun with Level III instead.

This is really interesting. Did you use the video series or live classes? I fear I might be marginal this year with a poor ethics score bringing me under, so I will keep this in consideration either way for 2 or 3 next year.

Agree with AM being much easier and Ethics being very difficult. Very confident I got > 70% in aggregate so I sincerely hope the “ethics adjustment” only applies to borderline people on the border of the mps. The PM quant was not easy but was offset by the AM quant being a gift. Also not sure why people had trouble with the FI/Derivatives, I thought those were as easy as they possibly could have been.

re-taker who failed band 10 last year, thought the exam was really fair and consistent with last year as far as difficulty. PM slightly tougher with more qualitative questions that are slightly harder to judge. ethics was such a toss up - half the questions were easy/straightforward, where the other half could have easily been two options. quant - am easy, pm was pretty tough. Equity/FRA - straightforward, I’ll be really shocked to not get >70% in both these - think i guessed on maybe 3-4 questions in both. FI/Derivs/CF - couple tricky questions but overall it could have been much worse. Alt/PM/Econ - 4/6 on these and I’ll be happy

I live in Denver and access it via videos. I personally recommend it.

wtffff, me too haha where in the world did you take it? that’s hilarious.

This is pretty much EXACTLY how I felt about the exam. Hopefully since you are a band 10 re-taker, this is a good thing for me…
