i am anticipating movie makers already plotting to make a film out of this.
I have been glued to the internet ever since this story broke out.
I still can’t believe how a freaking jumbo jet can disappear into thin air. I don’t even know what to believe anymore. All possible scenarios have been discussed and we still cannot agree upon what happened.
US/China definitely know more about this than they are letting on…
When you look at the two red arcs from the final satellite ping, it’s readily apparent that the plane could not have landed safely anywhere.
Plotting? The scripts have probably been edited several times already, they’re just waiting to fill in the ending. I wouldn’t be shocked if a made for TV movie comes out before they even know the ending for sure.

Any idea why the two arcs don’t connect?
^ I’m sure they do, they just would clutter the graphic. I assume they are projecting the distance from the satellite based on signal strength. If they do meet, then I think it’s possible the plane landed or crashed very soon after “disappearing.” Perhaps it could somehow remained transmitting, if the power stayed on to the device. Who knows. But I’d be looking more closely at the Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Indoneasia area than Tajikistan.
I think they landed somewhere in Myanmar. That country is within the ‘arc’ and I bet my phone has better radar capabilities than them.
Why would they land in Burma? It makes no sense. Not that the rest of this does. I think we’re searching for complex theories hold out false hope when in reality this plane probably ditched due to mechanical issue and everyone is gone.
I am very dubious as to what is their last signal now.
If this information was given on day 1, i’d say sure, it’s a hijacking incident, but this information is released after ONE WEEK and it was contrary to what they originally said (delaying rescue and search by the way), so is this “new information” just another cover-up??

I tend to think that is what happened as well.
Also consider the potential purpose of a hijacking… ransom for the plane. Ransom for the people. Some kind of political activism motive. Some kind of religious activism motive.
Any of these reasons and we would have heard something by now. Since there are no such reports, this plane is gone.

The planes somewhere at the bottom of the ocean by now and we probably won’t find it but people love a good conpiracy theory.
We agree that the planes gone but just for arguments sake if i knew how to post an image i would have posted an image of the 634 runways that are not limited to India/ Pakistan.
It could easily have flown over Burmese airspace, entered Nepal and gone into Mongolia or any other Central Asian country from there. Despite the tech we use we don’t get info in a continuous pattern.
It isn’t that hard to make a plane dissapear if you have the technical know how.
It can’t be zig zagging everywhere though, otherwise that circle becomes MUCH smaller. The radius of that circle is the straight line range of the aircraft. Turning this way through Burma, that way through Nepal, then over this way a bit into Kazahkstan… it just doesn’t work.
I’d plot the final known course, find where it corresponds on the arc, and that’s prime search zone. Sure it could be elsewhere, but it doesn’t make much sense.
The one item I’ll throw out there is that MAY support a hijacking that is not for ransom is if there was some ridiculously valuable or sensitive cargo onboard. Like 10,000lbs of gold bullion or some secret weapons tech. But there isn’t any evidence of this.
