Stalla Mock Results L2

Didn’t see a thread devoted to results, so wanted to get it started. Did the self-study mock today, scored a 57.5 (50a.m./65p.m.) If you haven’t done so already, load your scores on the Stalla site to see how you compare http://www.stalla.com/mockexamscores/login.cfm

So far, only 21 scores have been posted. Range of 47-82. Not a great indicator yet with the low # of people who have posted their results.

I got a 60% in the morning and I am taking the afternoon section tonight. One thing I will say is that I felt it was more of a test of test taking procedure, meaning that you had to realize the Corporate Finance question was a beast and move on. I tried to hang with it because it was one of my “good areas” and ended up wasting time best served answering other questions. Lesson learned.

Got 67% in AM. The questions were too long, especially the CF ones. I ran out of time. I was disappointed with the “Mock Exam & Review” CD. I thought it would have video of some Stalla instructor going over the solutions. It just has answers in text.

I agree. I thought there would be instructor-led video to go over the solutions. I only went the first day because it was free with CFA Society membership (which was pretty cool b/c Frank Stalla taught the L2 review himself).

Are you serious? Last year’s L2 and the 2008 L1 package had Peter Olinto and Dave Hetherington provide explanations for each question.

Yea I’m a little shocked if they got rid of the explanations. That just makes no sense to me.

I’m pretty sure there are no videos, only written explanations for each question. I’ve done the AM/PM exams, but they were physical copies (meaning I haven’t uploaded my answers onto my computer). If I do that, will the videos activate? I think they left them out this year though. I don’t see any functionality for it. Wish there was though. Peter Olinto is da’ shit. Even Dave is good. I didn’t like him at first - more monotone, but really explains the material well.

Just installed the DVD into my computer. It’s only 42MB, so you can pretty much conclude that there are no videos this year. That is pretty lame.

Thanks for double checking. I agree. Lame.
