Maybe it’s all the caffeine and sleeplessness in me talking but…
Did Sebastian Vettel claim last year’s F1 title in second gear? Floyd Mayweather said you may be a better boxer than me but I’l beat you because I’m willing to literally die in the ring to claim that title. Churchill said Never give in, never give in, never ever give in- if you’re going through hell, keep going. Someone once asked Mohammed Ali (the boxer) how many crunches you do in a day - he replied, I don’t know because I only start counting when it starts to hurt. Arnold says never listen to the naysayers.
I can go on and on and on - what my mind can conceive and my heart can believe, I can achieve.
Point being, come saturday night -it’ll all be worth it.
Lets talk on 7th june again - best of luck to you!
By all means I’m feeling screwed… this time last year I was scoring over 90% for Level I, now I’m a little over 70%… my colleagues are constantly calling me although I’ve taken two weeks off…our supervisors are calling me…I scored 17% in Economics (what a joke, I should score more if I don’t read the questions)…and there are lots of topics I should review…L2 sucks. The only thing that keeps me going is willpower. What I am trying to say is keep going until you ace it, even if you have to take two mocks a day, we will rest after 06.06.
You’re feeling screwed averaging over 70% on mocks? Buddy, jeez… take it easy on yourself, you’re going to have an aneurysm.
You might be too smart for your own good, over 90% on L1 mocks is crazy. I know the material is less challenging but I think the best I ever did on a mock was an 80 and that was a random 3rd party provider I’d never heard of offering a free one, lol.
In the words of Aaron Rodgers: R-E-L-A-X
You’re in a good spot. Econ is a mess for a lot of people. I’ve never felt strong in it either.
@shootforthestars1 I love the heart, needed some motivation after a long night last night, thanks.
You’ll do what makes sense to you, but I think what some people are trying to say is your 12 hour mock days, while admirable, might be less efficient than doing 6 hours of mocks (I’m doing one 3-hr mock every other day…) and spending the remaining 6 hours ripping apart what you did right and what you did wrong.
ltj, I’m feeling screwed because of the whole situation- too ofter last six months I worked til 10 PM, including weekends and as a result I put less than 300 hours for studing although I knew it would be harder than L1. So now I’ll have to catch up for two weeks. Don’t mind me, I’m in complaining mode and I need a real vacation :).
Oh Jesus! Who the hell is Candidate 30 in spreadsheet…I need to bow my head to him! Hats off.
Strategy - Revise Formulas every day, go back to CFAI EOC/Mocks/Scheweser Problems (the one I could not do it right first time) and Ethics on last day.
Are you guys facing the same problem? I feel that i am scoring well in numericals but when it comes to Statements/Judgements/or Phrases, I end up screwiing up because I dont get to remember small things which are provided in Book . How do you guys manage to remember those small things/assumptions which they speak about in Vignette. I am scared of only those questions!
I hear you bruh, will keep in mind - I’m not too stuck up on one strategy anyway. If after the first few mocks I feel it’s getting repetitive, then I wouldn’t hesistate to drop and focus on topicwise practice.
No problem mate - I’m used to being given motivational speeches when something big is about to happen in markets, so I guess everything I’ve heard in the past few years is coming to use now.
^I dont think there are that many forumlas that you have to “memorise”!
Because most of them you can write purely from your understanding. The one’s you can’t, you have to memorise (yes there are a few but not that many). Which topic specifically tricked you??
