Studied from Curriculum & Failed

I too stuck to the CFAI books and failed last year! Spent a hell lot of time & effort (and borrowed money!) along with working later hours at work. I thought I had it all mapped out, but I got band 7! Re-attempted with with Schwesers, got just a week off from work and sailed through this time! Also solved 3 3rd party + 1 CFA mocks! To all those who couldn’t make it: Don’t you give up! It’s a really challenging course and it’s perfectly OK to give more than 1 attempt for a given level! I can imagine what it feels like! True courage is not in succeeding every time, but in how you react after you have failed! Sorry, don’t mean to preach, but can’t help empathizing! Although more time > consuming, CFAI is clearly the better (i.e. safer) > option. Fully agree. 70% of the whole is better than 100% of Schweser who doesnt cover everything.
