Survey - Who kill our Economy?

We should stop Canadians from shopping here just because their currency appreciate against ours. Where were they a few year ago when our currency is strong?

He is as much responsible for the global economic car crash as he was for China exporting deflation for 10 years. Anyway, the WSJ seems to want to blame “L” bit of LIBOR for the funding issues of US banks, so why not? No one and everyone is/are to blame for this. We just had a Minksy moment. It wasn’t specifically the US or Britain or France or Canada - It was all of us. Stability => Overconfidence => too much leverage/too low risk premia => recklessness => Instability. Next we get retrenchment and then rebuilding.

Also blame the Detroit 3’s problems on themselves for making sh!tty cars. I own a Toyota 4Runner and a Honda Accord, absolutely love both of them. In the past I have owned two Hondas, a Chevy, and Chrysler. The Chevy and Chrysler didn’t even compare to the quality of the rice burners. I just rented a new GM last week (Pontiac G6) b/c my car was in the shop, it had 5000 miles on it so it was obviously brand new. I have seen a ton of marketing on this car so I figured it would be nice to try out, I can honestly say it was an absolute piece of crap, I would never buy one or any GM/Ford/Chrysler for that matter. GM/Ford/Chrysler did this to themselves. They believed for too long that they were too big and too important to fail. They didn’t invest in new technology, design, or fuel efficiency until it was too late and let the unions bend them over. Who really cares if 3 companies who make inferior products go under? And you can’t play the “buy made in USA” card, there are a lot of Japanese cars sold in America that are American made. I know GM makes a ton of cars in Mexico and Canada anyway, does anyone have the numbers of just how many cars they actually produce in the US compared to foreign car companies? I think that would be interesting to see.

  • Cheap funds for long time ( more assets bubbles … real estate/commodities…etc…) - Inadequade supervision on Mortage lending - Uncontrolled Govt. spending … - Borrowing specially from china - Cheap dollar These are the main causes for current situation, no one can avoid a recession, which shed over capacities in the economy in the long run and fine-turn it.

I blame as the root of the problem; ‘Complacency’ and from everyone!
