As a Junior Research Analyst within the Global Equity Group, you will be part of our global research platform, working in support of a senior Portfolio Manager based in our Nassau, Bahamas office. We seek a highly motivated person to perform the following responsibilities: Assist Portfolio Managers and Research Analysts in all aspects of the investment process,to include compiling and reviewing data, conducting statistical analyses, and completing studies of industry groups, and assigned country/sector, or individual securities Compile data from multiple sources and develop detailed financial models on assigned companies/sectors/securities in a global forum Provide analytical support to the investment team Participate in client presentations - both preparing and presenting data, depending on skill level NOTES: Employer will assist with relocation costs Ideal candidates will have: Bachelor’s degree in related field MBA and/or CFA 2-3 years experience working in a similar role, with increasing independent research responsibilities Strong track record in analyzing sectors and companies, ideally on a global or international basis; experience in the consumer sector highly desirable Proven success in building detailed financial models Strong understanding of & passion for equity markets and stocks Ability to learn quickly and communicate effectively Ability and willingness to travel internationally
