The countdown to 27 Jan '10 begins

It’ll be midnight in Australia when the results are released. 30 hours to go…

Same here, 30 more hours to go. It will be 10pm my time. beatthecfa, why haven’t you visit rus1bus and me yet? Will be giving him a treat if I manage to pass.

Revenant, You definitely deserve to pass, and he deserves all the free lunches he gets through the work he put in on this board. Gem of a chap. I was planning to visit late December, but my daughter fell ill and I couldn’t make it. I should be there sometime soon hopefully. I’ll definitely get in touch with you guys before I leave. You started on Level II yet?

bahhh

approx 22 hrs…

Best of luck all, hope to see you in the L2 forum tomorrow!

Well in India, its just another 3 hours to go for 27th January. What time does CFA releases its results? 9:00 AM US East time my guessing, that would add another 11 HRS. Another 14 Hours of Torture, I was thinking torture was limited only to Exam hall!!!

I think you may have your calculations wrong there, as the results are released at exactly the same time for everyone, and its just over 22 hours for us. I’m in London and results are at 2pm London time, and its 4pm now…

^ Bexter, you’ll pass and this will make you feel like flying. Have faith. Best of luck, guys. See you in the L2 forum tomorrow at 9:05AM EST. It’s all good.

You guys are making me tense!!

When I get nervous thinking about tomorrow, I remind myself that I feel like I put as much effort into preparing as I could have. I know other people on here feel the same way. I’m a beleiver of the saying “You reap what you sow”. Hopefully tomorrow proves me right.

Does anyone know why it takes them almost 2 months to post scores for exams that are entirely multiple choice?! its not like they are grading essay form and i’d assume they just scan the cards in to get the scores?

Search this

They need some time to determine the MPS, and they’re also manually grading a part.

Yeah I remember responding to such a query. Search it

Where on the website do we go to find our results?

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG I want to know right now. Then I think about logging into the web site and seeing my results and I think, “I can’t believe it’s only 18 hours away” and I want it to be longer. I actually managed to put this out of my mind for the past couple weeks. Now I’m going a little cuckoo. OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG Hope I passed… but the people that announced in this thread that they got laid off kinda puts things into perspective for me.

Does anyone happen to know, when you receive a score band for a specific section, say 51 to 70 for economics, is that a raw score? In other words, is CFAI stating that you got 51% to 70% of the actual questions correct? Or, are they giving you an adjusted score?

What do you mean with ‘adjusted score’? Relative performance? I think it is a raw score (51% to 70% correct, for example).
