Enjoy > the fruits of your labor for the rest of your > life!!! Dear Jdivico, many thanks. I live in HK. I earned my Master in International Accounting & ACCA before 2010. As all my studies were in UK style (i.e., as long as U memorized 10 years past papers, U can pass any exam easily as the questions just reappear), I found it difficult to deal with the CFA exam style (questions keep changing every year). I sat for the CFA exam just for interest and it added little value to my job (too old to change field), albeit I learned a lot from the exam. I am surprised at my determination when I looked back on the past 9 years. I think I will seldom touch my texas instrument again. Now I am at another crossroad. Fail band 9. 61.4 based on 40/60/80, 56.8 essay, 65.5 multiple guess. I ran out of time on the essay section, left one question pretty much blank. Thought I was pretty well prepared, CFAI materials, secret sauce, took several practice tests. Pretty disappointed, but will bang it out next year.

Pass. Band 4 last year. For those who couldn’t cross the finish line this year, don’t give up, it just means there were some glaring holes in your study strategy, so work hard on it next year. When I read the email this morning, I was more relieved than happy. My heart goes out to all my fellow AF’ers who’ve helped tremendously during this journey that couldn’t make it. The beast gets the best of us. Best of luck next year!
