If you didn’t write on the lined paper, and wrote under the questions, they didn’t grade it. There are quite a few idiots like myself who did this, and I ran it all the way up to Peter Mackey, Director of Examinations, who basically gave me a thoughtless scripted response about “applying the rules uniformly”. I pressed him on why testers who didn’t use the template would be graded if the rules were to be applied uniformly, he did not respond. All in all im disappointed, but i consider band 5 to be decent with only half the test graded (and one section in the morning that had all templates, which i got >70%) Butterich Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > FAIL: Band 4 > > Actually I have no idea what happened especially > to the AM Session > > Totally unreal because I though AM was quite good. > Somebody mentioned that there is the possibility > to get zero points for writting somewhere wrong? > Were would this be because I just followed through > the exam. > > Essay Q# Topic Max Pts <=50% 51%-70% >70% > 1 Portfolio Management - Individual 15 * - - > 2 Portfolio Management - Individual 23 * - - > 3 Portfolio Management - Institutional 26 * - - > 4 Economics 23 * - - > 5 Portfolio Management - Asset Allocation 20 * - - > > 6 Fixed Income Investments 19 * - - > 7 Equity Investments 22 * - - > 8 Portfolio Management - Risk Management 16 * - - > > 9 Portfolio Management – Performance Eval. 16 * - > - > > > Item Set Q# Topic Max Pts <=50% 51%-70% >70% > - Alternative Investments 18 - * - > - Economics 18 - - * > - Equity Investments 18 * - - > - Ethical & Professional Standards 36 - - * > - Fixed Income Investments 36 - - * > - Portfolio Management - Execution 18 * - - > - Portfolio Management - Individual 18 - - * > - Portfolio Management - Risk Management 18 - - *

Passed. I passed Level I in 1999, so this has been a long journey for me. I did have two kids and went to grad school during that time, so cut me some slack! I bombed a few sections, so my scores are messy, but I’ll take it! ---------------------- Dear stevec, Congratulations.
