It’s a huge story that may have long term impact – politicians and media personalities are dropping like flies. Bill Clinton, JFK, LBJ, and even FDR would never have been elected in this current environment. I thought it was an obvious choice especially since Trump was POY last year. If you want to argue bias, you could say it should have gone to the conservative Gretchen Carlson who really was the first high profile woman to speak out.
i really disagree with trump for this year. last year no doubt but sure he is “unconventional” this year - but he has not accomplished anything significant yet. Its all just puffer at this point. Im still going with Kim Jung Un, he triggers the global community and trump and has been at the center of a lot of international conflict this year while their missile program has advanced significantly. Xi is in the group of people that it could be every year as well

Went through the previous winners and was surprised to see Bezos won way back in 1999. I guess they used him to represent the entire dot com sector, but it’s still pretty crazy that they picked him when they could’ve gone with any plenty of other successful dot com CEOs at the time.
definitely not trump. the easy choice is elon musk. ramping up production for the first truly significant electric car for the masses. hyperloop proposals are popping up everywhere and some are looking like they might actually get funded. he continues to push the limit with rocket technology. and he created a rocket called the Big F$%@ing Rocket that will take us all to Mars. if this isn’t the year where he earns MoftY, i don’t know what year he earns it.
