top FRM Forum?

Thanks all: This is the information that I was looking for. This thread has been really helpful in making my decision between the FRM or PRM. From the information thus far, I am more sold on the FRM hands down. So I definitely will sign up to write for this years exam. I am new to the whole finance arena, and I have a quantitative background so hopefully me pursuing this would be a good advantage.

here is a comparison between FRM and PRM, its a bit dated though http://www.siegert-partner.de/GARP_PRMIA/garp_vs_prmia.htm

for those of you who are wondering if FRM or PRM is ever being requested, I found one!!! However, this is for a Senior Risk Specialist (5-10 yr experience). It requires a graduate degree along iwth the designations. they list both FRM and PRM.

In Montreal, I see quite a few jobs requesting the FRM or PRM. Institutions such as la Caisse de Depot and Banque Nationale are looking for people with the designation.

too bad I don’t speak French I guess…
