Well it’s not Trump that makes people have stupid opinions. He just encourages them to actually declare those stupid opinions in public. In other words, Trump makes politics more democratic. Sure it’s like reality TV now, but look, if you encourage the middle American to declare their beliefs on everything, this is what you’re going to get. The alternative is to shut off people and make politics an exclusive discussion among society elite. I’m not saying this is bad, but if we’re criticizing Trump’s mass market appeal, then at least call the alternative what it is.
What is his view point? My understanding is he is for free trade as long as both sides follow the agreement. He seems to argue that America is the only one actually following the trade argeements. Is he wrong? And are you familiar with Buffett’s idea of import certificates? Is he a lightweight as well?
Anyway, you’ve been had. Trump’s goal is to get elected. You don’t think he purposely is staying away from wonky discussion? Hate to break it to you, that might interest us, but it turns away most people. Almost everyone that has spent anytime with the man claims he is anything but a lightweight.
People recite a couple of memorizied lines on a topic, most politicians, and we deam them intelligent. The idea that Trump couldn’t have done that for every topic during the debate is comical. He’s doing what he believes will have him winning in the end. If he gets the nomination, do you not think his poll numbers will start to go up against HRC? If they do, do you think it will be an accident?
You think Canada is cheating on NAFTA? The U.S. routinely loses cases under NAFTA, Canada isn’t the cheater. Yet Trump would scrap this, setting back both of our economies greatly. It’s reckless, stupid and ideologically driven. This man is no pro-business Republican. He’s a typical labour Democrat selling to 25-50 year old blue collar male white workers. Protectionism, isolationism. Turning back the clock to 1970.
penises and vaginas are nudity. public nudity is illegal. breasts, male or female, are not. to deny women breastfeeding in public is to say that female breasts are disallowed because they’re sexualized, even during the most basic act of human existence which is breastfeeding, which makes it misogynist. many women have smaller breasts than men but still for some reason, people like trump see those smaller breasts as more offensive. also, what is offensive to trump? the breasts themselves, or a baby eating its food. either way, a person that thinks like that on this subject shouldn’t represent a western country.
EDIT: the breastfeeding issue is but one of the many facts that support he is misogynst. the difference in which he treats men and women on a daily basis is the key issue.
Women who breastfeed in public are microaggressors toward women who are unable to breastfeed their babies. When women who are unable to breastfeed see other women flaunting their breastfeeding abilities in public, it further intensifies their guilt and feelings of inadequacy.
You can easily sit on a toilet or pee at a urinal with no penis being exposed. I have been seeing men pee in public restrooms at urinals for years and i have yet to see a penis.

Wait, shouldn’t the fact that breastfeeding offends *some* people be enough to say don’t do it? Should I go around calling people Nigga since it offends only a minority of the population? In case you are wondering, I don’t really care about this issue. However, if 50% of people recoil in horror against a certain non discriminative behavior, I would probably think about how appropriate that action is.
