steven crowder on youtube. pretty interesting stuff. he focuses on misquoted stats vs college kid anecdotes. you see a bunch of libs get triggered because of his claims. personally i think im a liberal, but i just enjoy seeing people get triggered!

he’ll say something controversial like i think that “white male prilege is a myth” convince me!

I watched the “Rape culture is a myth” one. I agree, the program is great at passive aggressively illuminating what is retarded about the left. However, in the left’s defense, it is hard to argue a point on the spot. Steven has the advantage of knowing how to respond to all of the arguments ahead of time. The participants are approaching with no preparation. For example, in the one I watched, one of Steven’s more damning argument points was that the data points out that cases of sexual assault were much more rare than what it would seem. That would have shut me up if I was on the spot. However, later that day when I was thinking about the program I realized that sexual assault is unique in that evidence is often lacking. This means the number of assaults that could actually be made official might be much smaller than those that take place. This line of reasoning would be a non hysterical counterpoint I would have made…given I could have come up with it on the spot, which I would not have.

Watched the HBO movie “My Dinner With Herve”. :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1:

crowder is using wrong statistics though. the rape stats he claimed were annual info occurances, and not lifetime cumulative stats. like he was misquoting it pretty bad. also just as a side note. rape/sexual assault happens a lot. i think 1/6 people are victims of rape/sexual assault. and about 90% of them are female. also i saw his interview with joe rogan and rogan was just acting like an aggressive asshole. i just watch it to see libs get triggered. people are too emotional about stuff like this.

We need a Vulcan political party

“I’m Dying Up Here” is pretty good, about comedians in the 1970s. Bit dark, but interesting and often funny.

Daredevil S3. Meandering in the first few episodes but new villian (+old) are excellent. Some slow character development but you’ll find it’s all worthwhile. Could not stop watching!

Agreed. Daredevil is one of the few (only?) MCU shows that Netflix has got right.

I watched the Night Manager recently, brilliant brilliant TV.

We saw that perhaps a year ago.

Loki and Bertie Wooster: great actors.

I binged the Umbrella Academy last week. Not outstanding but enjoyable. Great soundtrack too.

They most certainly are. I thought Tom Hollander stole the show though.

Olivia Coleman was good but not to her usual standard. Sometimes with British shows they try and shoe horn in as many national treasures as possible.

My wife is a fan of Pride and Prejudice, so I know him as Mr. Collins.

Another great actor.

Americans spend double the hours watching TV as Chinese do, that’s why they so dumb.

Watching Deadwood, not great, but two awesome genres that are constantly under represented are westerns and science fiction.

well technically cuz american content is superior to chinese content. i wouldnt watch much of chinese shit.
