I was so certain I failed after flubbing most of the individual IPS and some of the tax stuff that I just want to “lock in” the Charter at this point.

I see that too re: theKing post, but I am going to wait till I see DallasCFA, CFA or when I get the e-mail from CFAI.
That just means you pay part of your due to CFA Insititute and the other part goes to local society. In one word,it doesn’t mean anything. Anyone who is a regular member will see that.

In this world anything can happen. Nothing becomes official until you see something official.When there is still chance of failure,it is still counted as risk,isn’t it? I would wait but definitely not wait patiently- it is just impossible.

Also check under CFA candidate tab and it should say registered level III, charter pending. Membership type needs to be Regular in order to get your charter - under the manage account settings.

@underhedged, you have to close your browser and restart it. I have to do this each morning because I leave the computers on “Stand By”.
