They are weird in general, the son was using a beat down Accord to plow the heavy recent snow away.

Being on the west coast , you really have no idea about the level of snow we had , two Ford F150s were literally stuck just about 10 feet away.I was waist down into the snow, using a shovel just like I did would have been a better option , given all they do is chop wood and look at the fire.Time is on their side.

I lived in New Jersey in '93 – '94, during the worst winter in the last 20 years.

Please don’t presume that I have no idea about snow.

We shoveled snow at midnight so that the next morning it would take only 2 hours to get the cars out.

'93 - '94 was pretty bad, but you should have stuck around for another 2 years if you really wanted to see NJ snow.

I had some filipino neighbors who every once in a while would cook up some type of fish stew that smelled like boiling garbage.

well, I lived next to a thai person in barracks - outdoor barracks — he would put some kind of fish in the microwave that smelled so bad the outside halls would wreak of the nastiest fish smell one could imagine … and he would eat it like it was gourmet fresh caught lobster … mindboggling

Luckily these guys don’t cook anything with the fire, not that I know of at least.They do consume large quantities of beer though, every time I see them.Legend has it the father and son inherited the house or something, they clearly don’t belong there, not that I live in a rich neighbourhood but these guys are well below the standard neighbours in the street.All they do is burn stuff and drink beer outside.
